Design new systems, analyze performance of programs, or
introducing enhancements to existing systems; design/modify, code,
debug, test, and document application systems; install and test
software packages.
Determine source data (input), processing requirements (output), output formats, timing and cost estimates;
Ensures that system meets performance criteria and prescribed program specification
Discuss with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs.
Analyze NT client/server and micro-computer based software solutions compatibility with company requirements.
Train/advice/assist
users and other personnel on the technical aspects or use of computer
hardware, software packages or application systems.
Maintain confidentiality of information being processed, stored or accessed.
Maintain program libraries, users' manuals, or technical documentation
Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or IT Studies
Proficient
in computer applications, programming language (Visual Basic, Visual
Basic ++, Crystal Reports, etc...; Web programming/designing an
advantage)
Good technical problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented, output and quality-driven
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Strong learning capability;
Open-minded, reliable, flexible, able to multi-task and can work under pressure
Ability to work and interact effectively with other personnel of varying levels or groups; team player
